Students Ozcan Lab

Training & Dissemination

Results of the Center’s investigations will be presented through the Center’s website and at national engineering and medical meetings and published widely. The Center will host annual workshops for its current and potential partners and quarterly courses for training investigators, clinicians and technicians in the individual imaging techniques and intraprocedural use of the platform.

Training and Dissemination of all types, regardless of context and targeted recipients, will emphasize both new biophotonics technology and its clinical applications and engage both scientific and medical communities at multiple seniority levels. Establishment of the Center, its technologies, methodologies, results of its laboratory investigations, protocols for clinical implementation, and accumulated pre-clinical and clinical data will be reported on the Center’s website, in emails targeting imaging scientists and clinicians, in local seminars, and at national meetings, through podium, poster and booth presentations, and its discoveries and patents will be published widely in the scientific literature.

Visiting Scientists

Visiting graduate students, researchers, and clinicians come to our center for hands-on training in the use of our technologies and in the operation of translational research teams. These visits frequently result in joint publications and contribute to development of new imaging techniques.
