Wesley Baker is a physicist with specialization in optics in biological tissues.  He is interested in developing diffuse optical technologies to non-invasively monitor cerebral hemodynamics in children and animal models. He further uses these technologies to study the interplay between the delivery of pediatric critical care and the patient's long-term brain health. He is a member of Optical Society of America, SPIE, and the Society for Functional Near-infrared Spectroscopy.
